Covid-19 Vaccine coming to a place near you

At my workplace, they, today, received enough doses of the Janssen vaccine for all staff members and the population we monitor. I will state that I will not be taking part of the vaccine party at work. I can also state that the population is being bribed to take the vaccine. They are being offered cash, and if that does not work, offered free cable, and if that doesn’t sway them, forcing them to talk to psychologists about their decision.

Initially, our upper management was trying to bribe the staff as well. They were informed that that was illegal. However, that apparently does not stop them from trying to bribe our population. There are other workplaces locally that are enforcing front line workers to get the vaccine. They are not mandating it, per say, but you cannot work if you don’t have it. I am waiting for that to come to my work place. We keep receiving e-mails stating that the vaccine is not mandated for now. Their wording makes me feel like it is coming, and in the not too distant future.

What is more strange is the timing of this. We get notified about us getting a vaccine for everyone before we are asked if we are taking it. On top of that, it is out management asking, not medical professionals. This comes across as very odd to me. We also find out that another vaccine is now being proven to cause a rare brain blood clot that has been killing people?

I am half expecting the covid vaccine to cause more issues that the covid-19 virus did. I cannot justify to myself the need to take this rushed vaccine. The fastest in history ever made. There is a lot going on in the world, and getting shots from barely trained professionals about something I don’t trust is not on the top of my list of things to do today. Every person is responsible to make your own decisions. I have made mine. I think it is also important to note that at the end of October last year, my work place, for the first time ever, pain the population to take the flu vaccine. Less than a week later, we had a covid outbreak. If it was 1 or 2 cases, it could be coincidence, but a total of ~350 staff and population sick with in the next couple weeks when we had 0 cases prior seems a little suspect.

Be wary and mindful of your decisions. You never know, this could be the catalyst for Nostradamus’ prediction of zombies in 2021. Stay safe, stay prepared, and remember, don’t take life to serious.
